Google have made a deal with Getty Images who are a very large established American stock photo agency and have become partners which will benefit the two businesses , Google has also changed a few elements of their image search features resulting in a change of user experiences.
Google mentioned this change on Twitter “Today we’re launching some changes on Google Images to help connect users and useful websites. This will include removing the View Image button. The Visit button remains, so users can see images in the context of the webpages they’re on.
The Search by Image button is also being removed. Reverse image search *still works* through the way most people use it, from the search bar of Google Images.”
The reason behind Google making this change on the search engine is because they want to reduce copyright infringement through the well-used popular search engine. The reason behind this is because they had been in touch with Getty Images a few days ago in response in making this change.
