Bing Ads have released new updates to its advertising service to challenge its nearest competitor, Google.
The new Bing Ads updates include new bid adjustments for devices able to set modifiers for desktop and also broader ranges for mobile devices & tablets. The changes have now been released to the public in countries entitled to use Bing’s search engine. The update also allows the user to set negative bid modifiers for those, again, using desktop.
The graph shows previous bid adjustment ranges is +900%, with the option to bid down to as much as -100%. From the 100 percent range, this means it’s now possible to run mobile-only campaigns.
The new update was released to the public on 12th June 2017. Within the next few weeks everyone will have it in the UI, API and Editor. All advertisers will be able to run ad campaigns and now import their device bid adjustments into Bing Ads.
